Should I Create A Website?

Here is a table that displays whether you should or should not create a website.

Creating A Website
Yes No
-If you have a business (the web has over abillion users), and you don't want to lose that market! -If you want to do anything that is controversial in some countries (such as file sharing and sharing music).
-If you want to learn how the internet works and are interested in creating a website (educational purposes). -If you want to create a website with free smileys and cursors to download (so that you can put spyware on someone's computer).
-If you have a hobby and like writing (or blogging) about it, a website is a great idea! -If you want to create a website saying a user won something (you're our millionth visitor!), so that you can collect their credit card information and use it for your own purposes.
-If you want to create a website asking people questions (are you as smart as Einstein?), and then charging their cellphone number money for every question you send them.

Another reason for creating a website is for making money. In my opinion, this is both a yes and a no answer. If you're planning on making money in the wrong way (such as the reasons outlined above), then no. However, if you actually love your website and just want to make money from your hobby, that's fine. There are tons of ways to make money from a website. Some of the most obvious methods are through Google Ads, referrals, and affiliates.
